Technical Analysis: Windrock Execution
Miles' run at Windrock was a masterclass in addressing specific feedback. He didn't just ride faster; he rode smarter.
- The "Early Burn": Miles found 1.5 seconds of relative intensity in Sector 1. The "hesitation" noted at TTC is officially gone.
- The "Strong Finish": Clocking 0:39.12 in the final sprint, Miles proved he has the Jarrod's Place "closing speed" that defines the Bandidos style.
- The "Technical Discipline": Maintaining a 1:18.94 through the gnarliest technical middle section in the SE shows his line-awareness is elite for his category.
Mission: Tactical Development & "The Chunder"
We've fixed the start. Now we refine the middle to break into that elusive Top 10.
Break the habit of "dragging" brakes into technical features. Brake heavy before the rocks, then let the suspension work through them.
Use the "No-Brake Section" drill at home to build trust. Miles has the skill; now he needs the trust to let the bike float over high-speed rock gardens.
Calibration is key. Practice following Will or Druid through technical segments to calibrate vision and cornering exit speeds.
Practice: Prioritize "Exit Speed" over "Entry Speed" in technical corners.
Race Run: Eyes 20 feet ahead. "Heavy Feet, Light Hands." Attack the chunder.
