A concise visibility + trust review
The opportunity

The expertise is there. The proof is hard to see.

The site contains an exceptional depth of legal analysis. But a prospective manufacturer, distributor, retailer, or bicycle-industry executive must work through dense text before understanding who Steven helps, why his experience is distinctive, and why they should contact him.

A genuine niche authority

Steven W. Hansen advises and defends consumer-product businesses, with long-standing visibility in the bicycle industry and published analysis on product liability, regulation, insurance, e-bikes, recalls, and risk.

01

Information without orientation

The homepage begins with the newest article, not a clear statement of the clients served, problems solved, or reasons to engage the firm.

02

Too few visual trust signals

There is little immediate visual proof of the attorney, industry familiarity, publishing history, professional identity, or real-world connection to the markets he serves.

03

Mobile visitors must interpret

On a phone, long text and limited hierarchy make the site feel like an archive. Busy executives may leave before recognizing the depth of expertise behind it.

The strategic shift

Do not remove the substance. Frame it.

The articles are a major competitive asset. The website should first establish relevance and trust, then guide visitors into that body of knowledge. A strong introduction, attorney image, focused practice positioning, publication credibility, and visible contact path would help the same content resonate more quickly with the firm’s ideal clients.

One win YOU can make now

Add a “Start Here” authority panel above the articles.

Using Blogger’s existing layout tools, place one compact block at the top of the homepage containing:

  • A current professional photograph
  • One sentence defining exactly who the firm helps
  • A line noting published bicycle-industry legal analysis
  • One prominent “Discuss a Legal Matter” button
Bottom line: The problem is not a lack of expertise. It is a lack of immediate visual translation.
No pressure.

If nothing else, I hope this review was useful.
